It's April!
The true start to 2025
This month feels like it’s already over in the best way possible. Between school, getting contracts together for my client, working makeup and fx on a new film, and a couple amazing shows to see, I am feeling pretty great about the next handful of weeks.
If you subscribe to astrological leanings (I do) then it is also important to note that Mercury went direct today and Venus goes direct on Friday during a full moon. There’s a whole lot I could dive into here but, in short, all that stale ass energy that’s been hanging around is about to fly out the window.
I think we could all use an energy refresh right about now.
A lot of 2025 feel like a redo of 2024 for me. Last year I made a lot of changes and put myself out there in ways I was never brave enough to do before. Most of it was a disaster. If I had known some of the shit show that awaited me I probably wouldn’t have gone forward with most of the things I pursued. BUT here’s where I’m actually happy to not have a crystal ball … if I hadn’t gone through all of that I wouldn’t be in a position to kick ass this year. Who gives a fuck about 2024? Whatever happened is already in the past. Today is what actually counts.
